The new Children’s Medical Hospital on Legacy in Plano, Texas invited the Ivy Camerata String Quartet to be a part of the dedication festivities on April 3rd. The musicians were the featured artists for this special event.

The new facility will specialize in assisting young children and will boast a roster of well-respected and experienced doctors and specialists in the field of children’s medicine.

Members of the Ivy Camerata Orchestra performed aboard the Carnival Cruise Line’s M.S. Ecstasy in March 2008. The 27 member chamber orchestra traveled to Progresso and Cozumel, Mexico where they enjoyed the sun, ocean and beach. The performance trip was enriched by the expertise of several guest artists who conducted master classes aboard the ship.
